With the Gateron switches, Glorious PC Gaming Race has developed interchangeable key switches for its GMMK (Glorious Modular Mechanical Keyboard). They are particularly easy to use in this context, but of course, they can also be used in other keyboards or DIY projects.

The Gateron switches are compatible with SMD LEDs and can be illuminated through the transparent housing. Thanks to the MX(+) connector, the switches can also be used in keyboards equipped with Cherry MX switches. To ensure maximum compatibility, Cherry MX keycaps are also compatible. With a lifespan of 50 million keystrokes, the Gateron switches are very durable.

The typing feel of the Gateron switches is very pleasant, as the switches are much smoother yet still tactile. This provides a completely new typing and gaming experience. The Gateron switches offer significant improvements over the (still) market-dominating Cherry switches.

Gateron Green switches have a very high resistance, requiring a trigger pressure of about 80 g. These key switches are popular among heavy typists and programmers, as they provide both a tactile and loud acoustic feedback. Those who love the sound of clicking switches will be completely satisfied with Gateron Green switches.
