The GT0545T is the "headless" version of the Traveler Tripod Kit GK0545T-82TQD. Traveler tripods with Gitzo's 180° leg folding system utilize folded space more efficiently by accommodating the center column and head between the folded tripod legs. They are now even stronger with the state-of-the-art "Carbon eXact" tubes, more space-saving with the compact Traveler G-lock, and easier to transport with the included shoulder strap. The GT0545T tripod is the first-ever Series 0 Traveler tripod. With its slim leg tubes, it is the lightest Traveler tripod, yet surprisingly stable thanks to the rigid Carbon eXact tubes. It is a 4-segment tripod with a short closed length and a short extended height.

If there is one tripod that fits the description travel tripod, it is this one. However, one should not underestimate it. In combination with the fluid head, the tiny tripod is no longer so small. If you don't use the entire tripod height and centre column, the little one can do everything that the big ones can do.
This tripod test also produced interesting results that should be considered carefully before buying a new model. The test victory goes to the model from Berlebach. The combination of very high stability, great workmanship and good features is unbeatable. Nevertheless, the Berlebach is not a recommendation for everyone...
