Gitzo Mountaineer GT3542 Series 3 with 4 sections

The Gitzo GT3542 is a Series 3 carbon fiber tripod with 4 leg segments. It is designed to securely hold professional cameras with lenses ranging from 300 mm to a maximum of 400 mm while being easy to transport. This professional tripod features Carbon eXact tubes with a larger leg diameter. The diameter of the top leg segment is 32.9 mm, and the highly rigid carbon fibers in the lower leg segments make this tripod more durable, torsion-resistant, and lighter than its predecessors. The Gitzo GT3542 weighs only 1.86 kg, reaches a height of 162 cm, and can be folded down to 54 cm. The rigid center column can be easily removed, transforming the tripod into a ground-level setup to allow the photographer to capture a wider perspective. The 4-segment legs of the Gitzo GT3542 are secured with G-Lock Ultra twist locks that feature a built-in sealing ring to prevent dirt and dust from entering the leg mechanism. The upper tripod spider is designed to ensure greater stiffness, and generous leg angle selectors provide a wider grip area for adjusting the leg angles. The tripod is equipped with a stabilization hook on the center column to add weight for increased stability when the ground conditions or equipment weight require it.
