Instead, all movements are controlled with the gear lock at the base of the head. Weighing 9.35 ounces, the tripod is suitable for small DSLRs and mirrorless cameras weighing up to 6.6 kg. Cameras are mounted via the 1/4 inch-20 attachment on the head. To properly store the camera bag, the mount folds down to a compact 8.7 inches.
