Featuring Gitzo's patented G-Lock Ultras, the GM4552L offers the ability to carry an impressive 66 pounds while weighing only 1.6 pounds. The monopod reaches a maximum height of 74.8 ", allowing the user to shoot over masses or from a slightly elevated position. Like all Gitzo monopods, it has a reversible 1/4" -20 & 3/8"-16 mounting thread to add an optional head when even more height or articulation is required. Despite its impressive height, the monopod folds down to just 22" for transport or storage thanks to its 5-piece design. The GM4552L preserves Gitzo's reputation for strength and uses 6X Carbon eXact tubes and patented G-Lock Ultra designs to ensure professional performance with minimal effort. The 6-layer carbon fabric allows the monopod to maintain maximum strength while keeping weight to an absolute minimum, while the G-Lock Ultras increases the strength of the tube by providing a rigid connection between the leg sections and protecting the connections from dust, and moisture.
