Gira Universal dimming actuator

The Gira Universal Dimmer is a versatile device designed for controlling and dimming various light sources. It is suitable for use in KNX systems and can achieve a maximum switching capacity of up to 500 watts. The dimmer allows for manual or automatic selection of the appropriate dimming principle, making it particularly flexible. It supports a wide range of lamp types, including incandescent bulbs, high-voltage halogen lamps, dimmable high-voltage LED lamps, and compact fluorescent lamps. Additionally, it offers safe operation through protective mechanisms against no-load, short circuits, and overheating. The dimmer can also be used as a speed controller for single-phase electric motors, further expanding its application possibilities.
