The Gira Switching Actuator Door Communication 128900 is a switching actuator designed to control lighting, operate a door opener at secondary doors, or manage other functions via the Gira door communication bus. It allows for the control of a potential-free switching contact of 230 V and 10 A over a 2-wire bus.

The switching actuator can be operated using the "Door" and "Light" buttons on the apartment station, the call button at the door station, as well as the call button at the apartment station. It can function in five different modes: Switching, Timer s, Timer min, Pulse, and Door Opener. The pulse function is intended for controlling existing stairwell automatics.

A binary input allows for the switching of functions via a connected mechanical button. The switching time depends on the selected function and can be continuously adjusted from 1 to 10 seconds or from 1 to 10 minutes.

Notes: The switching actuator is intended for installation in the sub-distribution. If this is not possible, use a standard surface-mounted distributor. With this component, the setup of door communication systems with more than 30 participants is possible.
