Highlights bietet das Gigaset QV830 keine: Aber das Android-Tablet erledigt zuverlässig die meisten grundlegenden Aufgaben, hat dabei allerdings einen etwas kurzen Atem. Das Gigaset QV830 lässt sich recht einfach und gut bedienen, zumal es sich vor allem auch durch seine gute Mobilität auszeichnen kann. Das Tablet bietet jedoch auf der anderen Seite ein nur mittelmäßiges Display, zumal auch die Ausstattung auf das Wesentliche begrenzt ist.
Für einen Newcomer schlägt sich das Gigaset QV830 nicht schlecht, aber für weniger als 200 Euro gibt es zum Beispiel von Acer oder Blaupunkt vergleichbare Konkurrenten, was die Ausstattung und die Leistung betrifft.
