The Gigaset A690A Trio is an analog and DECT cordless telephone system with caller ID functionality in a black finish. This phone offers two operating modes, allowing calls to be made either with the handset or in hands-free mode. The device features a large, illuminated black-and-white graphic display with strong contrast for improved readability, complemented by an ergonomic keypad with illuminated keys for intuitive operation. A built-in digital answering machine function offers up to 20 minutes of message storage, with playback options via handset, base station, or remote access, and retains messages during power outages, along with customizable greeting texts and recording length settings. The system supports expansion with up to four compatible handsets for multi-room placement and integrates ECO DECT technology for reduced radiation exposure in standby mode and adaptive transmission power during calls based on the distance between the handset and base station, with an option to disable ECO mode for maximum DECT range.
