Despite the increased pin count of AM5, the actual size of the socket remains the same as the older generation, allowing most CPU coolers designed for the AM4 socket to be mounted on the motherboard. The Gigabyte X670 AORUS ELITE AX is focused on high-end gaming, ensuring you can enjoy demanding games without interruptions. The high-quality voltage regulators with 16+2+2 phases provide a stable power supply of 70A to the CPU, ensuring its high clock rates can be maintained over extended periods. Additional features such as BIOS Flashback and Clear CMOS allow you to restore functionality if something goes wrong. As usual, DDR5 RAM can also be pushed to higher clock rates.
