The Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 Super Gaming OC 8G is one of the fastest gaming graphics cards currently available. The TU104 graphics chip of the RTX 2080 Super is based on the Turing architecture, manufactured using a 12nm FinFET process, and is responsible for the speed boost over the 10 series alongside the GDDR6 graphics memory. The implemented ray tracing technology provides particularly realistic light and shadow effects, which is also the reason for the name change to GeForce RTX. In this Super variant, the base clock has been increased compared to its predecessor, and the number of shader units (CUDA cores) has been raised from 2,944 to 3,072, along with an increase in ray tracing cores from 46 to 48.
