The three powerful fans enable cool operation, and under certain temperatures, the fans can even turn off completely. The new Turing graphics chips in the RTX series include special processing units that accelerate ray tracing rendering. The interaction of these ray tracing cores with the GPU enables real-time ray tracing in games for the first time. This results in better shadows and, most importantly, much more realistic reflections. The Super models of the GeForce RTX family offer more video memory and an increased number of shader cores compared to their standard RTX predecessors.
