Each driver of the Genelec 8331 is powered by its own amplifier, keeping the signal paths extremely short and minimizing distortion. The speaker enclosure is made of torsionally rigid aluminum, so the Genelec 8331 is free from sound-altering vibrations. Depending on the location, the speakers can be positioned horizontally or vertically. Their practical IsoPod feet optimally decouple the speakers and protect the surface underneath. Additionally, the Genelec 8331 can be finely adjusted in bass, midrange, and treble to suit the setup. The optional Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM™) with AutoCal™ even allows for automatic calibration via PC or Mac.
