Genelec 7370APM

The Genelec 7370 is an active subwoofer from the SAM series (Smart Active Monitor). SAM means that the subwoofer can adapt to the room acoustics. This is achieved through a measurement microphone at the listening position and the GLM software (Genelec Loudspeaker Manager).

There are 20 DSP filters available, which can also be manually edited. Disturbing room influences are significantly reduced, allowing for precise deep bass reproduction. Stereo and surround setups can be easily configured and controlled.

Through bass management, the subwoofer automatically takes over all frequencies below the set crossover frequency. This relieves the connected speakers, resulting in better resolution and higher loudness for the entire system.

The Genelec 7370 offers analog inputs for surround setups up to 7.1. For 2.1 setups, an AES/EBU input is available. The multichannel interface 9301 also allows for setups up to 7.1 via AES/EBU.

The compact housing features a long, aerodynamically optimized reflex tunnel. Built using LSE (Laminar Spiral Enclosure) technology, it enables high levels at the lower end of the frequency range, without any disturbing airflow noise or distortion.
