The compact and elegantly designed active speaker Genelec 4020B features the same design as the monitors from the Genelec 8000 series. Its controlled directivity allows for easy installation of the system in various acoustic environments and provides excellent sound coverage. As an active speaker, it includes drivers, power amplifiers, active crossover filters, and protection circuits. The 4020B is designed exclusively for indoor use and is equipped with Genelec Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS™) circuitry, which puts the speaker into standby mode when no audio input is detected.
