The unique design of the aperture blades creates an excellent bokeh effect. The blades are curved, resulting in an almost round aperture opening at all f-stop settings. The edges of the blades have been rounded, contributing to a sharper image. The FUJIFILM X mount fully utilizes the advantages of a mirrorless design. The short flange distance of just 17.7 mm enables high resolution performance across the entire image area.
