Product details

FCC, CE. USB to RS-232 converter cable with FTDI chip. These cables provide a fast and easy way to convert a serial RS-232 signal to USB. The USB connector contains a small circuit board with the serial FTDI FT232RQ UART interface IC to handle all USB signals and protocols. Two LEDs indicate that data is being received and transmitted. They have a maximum signal rate of 1 Mbaud. These converters are supported with Microsoft WHQL-certified VCP drivers for Windows, Apple Mac, and Linux, which are available free of charge. The other end of the cable consists of bare, tinned wires and can be customized to your needs using various connectors. The cables are available in two lengths and with an optional power output of +3.3 V or +5 V dc.
