The FrSky ADVANCE (ADV) series features a wide range of sensor types and enhances the performance and capabilities of the original sensor line. All ADV sensors fully support the FBUS protocol and are also compatible with S.Port. With the FBUS protocol, the ADV sensors can be seamlessly paired with FBUS-capable receivers, further simplifying device setup. The VARI ADV variometer sensor calculates altitude based on atmospheric pressure, which decreases with increasing height. This allows the sensor to measure altitude up to 10,000 m with an accuracy tolerance of 0.1 m. Accurate measurements cannot be made if atmospheric pressure changes due to weather conditions.
