While analog active noise cancelling (ANC) works with analog components and uses only one microphone in each ear cup to primarily reduce bass sounds, these digital ANC headphones feature a microphone on both the inside and outside of each ear cup. Combined with the computer chip and the isolating shape of the ear cups, this results in excellent noise cancelling of up to 34 dB. It reduces a wider range of sound frequencies even before the noises reach the headphones. You can control your music with the touch controls or simply activate Siri or Google Assistant on your smartphone by pressing the right side of your headphones for 2-3 seconds.
