The ES 165 K2E system consists of two 6½" (165 mm) woofers with a K2 sandwich cone made of aramid fibre, a Focal innovation with renowned performance. Their high sensitivity allows them to produce an enveloping, powerful and dynamic sound. The central ogive ensures better sound dispersion in the vehicle, significantly improving the in-car listening experience. The two TKME tweeters with the 'M'-shaped inverted dome, also made of aramid fibre, are connected to bi-amplifiable audiophile crossovers. They ensure optimum control of the high frequencies and produce a smooth and perfectly defined treble range. Hi-fi sound has arrived on board. For optimum, flexible installation options, the tweeters can be mounted in three ways: in their original position, flush-mounted or on angled brackets. Aluminium grilles are also included in the scope of delivery.
