Product details
With the IBC cleaner, you can quickly and mechanically clean the end faces of fiber optic connectors without training.
The Quick Clean cleaners from Fluke Networks are a series of mechanical cleaning devices designed to clean fiber optic end faces on patch cables within adapters or patch panels. These Quick Clean cleaners are made from antistatic material and use a novel strand for dry cleaning, gently wiping away harmful contaminants and removing them from the connector without damaging the end faces. These devices are particularly effective at removing contaminants during fiber optic installation, including:
- Road dust (ISO 12103-1)
- Residues from skin oils
- Saltwater residues
- Alcohol residues
- Plant residues
- Graphite residues
- Hand cream
- Residues of distilled water
The Quick Clean 2.5 mm cleaner is used for cleaning SC, ST, FC, and E2000 connectors with UPC or APC polish. Unlike traditional cleaning swabs that rely on the user's skill, the Quick Clean cleaners provide consistent cleaning performance every time. The user can easily apply the cleaning device by moving it with light pressure. A clicking sound indicates that the process is complete.
- Movement of the device through light pressure application
- Audible click informs the user that the device is in operation
- Cleans over 525 end faces per device
- Tip extension up to 208 mm for hard-to-reach connectors
- Shock resistant up to 250 N
- Resistant to drops from over 1.5 m.
