Product details
Multiple award-winning calendar Flowers vertical by Richard Fischer - now new. Perpetual calendar in portrait format 40 x 110 cm, designed, printed, and bound in Germany, individually shrink-wrapped. Richard Fischer, born in 1951 in Manila, grew up in the Philippines and Germany. After training at the Academy of Photography in Munich, he worked in Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, and Vienna. In 1978, he founded his first studio in Hamburg. Today, Richard Fischer lives and works in the south of France. His photographs have been and continue to be showcased in major solo exhibitions in many countries around the world, including Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Japan, and China. The idea of photographing flowers in their purest form against a white background was first conceived by our photographer Richard Fischer. What appears so simple and straightforward is the result of labor-intensive preparations, and it has received numerous awards and has been widely imitated. For his unique flower photographs, Fischer has received many international accolades, including the International Kodak Photo Calendar Award, the Stuttgart Calendar Show Award, the DDC Award, and the iF Communication Design Award.
