Piero Lissoni: a designer for all occasions

This light was designed in 2014 by Piero Lissoni, who was born near Milan in 1956. Although he originally studied architecture, Lissoni has also worked as an interior designer, artistic director, and product designer. He opened his own studio in 1986 together with Nicoletta Canesi. In the past, he has designed various products, including wristwatches, a 37-meter yacht, and an eight-story building in Istanbul, Turkey. According to his philosophy, the form determines the shape that a particular product takes.
