Product details
The UE100 switch can be used to operate lights equipped with electronic ballasts (general lighting) as emergency lights during a power failure. For this purpose, the switch disconnects the light from the mains supply and switches it to the emergency power supply with a time delay when the supply voltage is present. The delayed switching eliminates potential arcing in the relays used and ensures a safe separation between the general and emergency power supplies. The switch is fully suitable for use in systems according to VDE 0108. Depending on the requirements, the switch can be installed in the light fixture, in a sub-distribution board, or in the emergency lighting device. Input 2: 230 V 50 Hz AC / 216 V DC (emergency power), Switching point 1: 180 V DC/160 V AC (switching from mains to emergency power), Switching point 2: 150 V DC/140 V AC (switching back to mains), Switching time approx. 100 ms, Switching capacity 250 VA.
