What are custom monitors?

The prices for the "customized" in-ear monitors are all-inclusive. They include a custom-made right and left earpiece, the cable, and a case with your name or alias.

The services performed by audiologists are limited to taking silicone ear impressions of the customer's inner ear. This must be paid for directly at the audiologist's office.

These silicone ear molds are then sent to us along with the order form, which is available for download on the product page. These impressions are scanned in 3D at the Fischer-Amps lab and used as the basis for the earpieces, which are printed using a 3D printer. Some audiologists also have the capability to scan the silicone impressions themselves and provide us with the files in .stl format.

Fischer Amps custom monitors do not use standard drivers. The miniature speakers and additional electronics are integrated into the custom earpiece.
