The FiiO FF5 earphones are not traditional in-ear headphones but rather earbuds. Earbuds sit in the outer ear rather than being inserted into the ear canal, which many people find more comfortable. The high-quality dynamic driver with a diameter of 14.2 mm delivers a detailed, finely resolved, energetic sound with plenty of texture. The FiiO FF5 is tuned to reproduce voices crystal clear and lively, while instruments are resolved in detail and accurately. Thanks to the Acoustic Resistance Pipe Design, the FiiO FF5 also excels in bass reproduction at a top level. The package includes three different types of foam covers, which not only make the FF5 feel more comfortable in the ear but also generate various sound signatures. The three types of foam covers are designed for enhanced bass, a nicely balanced sound, or a transparent, finely resolved sound with a focus on the highs. Additionally, six anti-slip silicone rings in sizes M and L are included, which can be attached if needed to provide extra stability in the ear. Not only the earphones but also the high-quality headphone cable made of high-purity copper with a silver coating is well thought out. This cable features MMCX connectors on both earphones, allowing for replacement if necessary. The connectors for connecting to a music playback device are conveniently interchangeable, with a 3.5 mm plug and a symmetrical 4.4 mm plug included. This makes the FF5 versatile for use with various devices.
