This enclosure is suitable for electrical equipment and meets various standards including UL Type 1, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 6P, and 12. It is compliant with Canadian industrial control equipment standards and European regulations for low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies. The enclosure is also certified for safety in information technology equipment and adheres to the RoHS Directive. It includes an enclosure, cover, screws, and a PUR/EPDM gasket. Optional plates for cable glands and fasteners that fit into pre-cut openings, as well as extension frames that increase the enclosure height by 50 mm, are available separately. The EK series polycarbonate enclosures do not come with a chassis plate. All enclosures are light gray (RAL 7035), conform to IP67, and have a UL94-V2 flammability rating. The temperature range of the enclosure material is -40 to +120 °C, with +80 °C for continuous operation. They are shock resistant, self-extinguishing, and resistant to most acids and alkaline solutions.
