Not too long ago, in a galaxy not so far away, a cult formed around LEGO Star Wars and its slightly ironic LEGO version of the Star Wars universe. Now, the era of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia is being recreated with plastic bricks through a series of features. In LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, you take on the role of a key character and reenact scenes from the iconic Star Wars films—from Luke Skywalker attacking the Death Star to Chewbacca battling the imperial stormtroopers on Endor.

This time, characters can even enter and exit their vehicles whenever they want, ride on various creatures, and fight enemies with unique tricks. Build and control vehicles like AT-STs and Speeder Bikes, and ride creatures like Banthas and Tauntauns. Unlock over 50 playable characters—from Darth Vader to Greedo. Use a save file from the original game to unlock an additional 54 playable characters. Create over a million different character combinations, such as Yoda Kenobi or Lando Fett.

Fight with special attacks and maneuvers unique to each character; for example, Chewbacca can rip the little plastic arms off his enemies. You can not only collect pieces of Mini-Kit vehicles but also use them in special levels. In Free Play mode, you can freely combine characters and vehicles, allowing you to turn Darth Maul into a hero or destroy the Death Star with a TIE Fighter.
