The Fender Twisted Tele Pickups deliver hot Telecaster sounds with high output and a touch of sparkling Stratocaster flair. Each pickup is equipped with Alnico 5 magnets and precisely tuned to its position (neck and bridge) to produce the characteristic tone. The neck pickup features a nickel/silver cover, Formvar magnet wire, and a larger coil with more windings, resulting in a particularly clear sound typical of Telecasters. The bridge pickup, with enamel-coated magnet wire and a slightly shorter coil with more windings, produces a darker sound with pronounced mids. The Formvar-coated magnet wire in the neck pickup provides transparency and a bright, clear sound. The enamel-coated magnet wire in the bridge pickup supports a dark, warm vintage tone. Flush-mounted pole pieces create even string resonance. Alnico 5 magnets contribute to a focused, dynamic sound.
