The USB to SATA adapter is a compact SATA adapter designed for installing a 6.35 cm (2.5 inch) or an 8.89 cm (3.5 inch) SATA I/II/III hard drive/SSD. Thanks to the simple and quick installation with Plug & Play, the hard drive or drive is ready for use in no time. No additional power supply is required for the operation of the 6.35 cm (2.5 inch) hard drive, as it is powered through the USB 3.0 interface. However, a separate 12V/2A power supply is needed for the 3.5 inch HDD (included in the package).
