Eyb Guitars Eyb Megaswitch 3.0, Version T

The third generation of the Eyb Megaswitch® is an evolution of the previous Eyb Megaswitch®. It is available in five variants and offers more switching options with easy handling. Many other details have also been significantly improved:

1. 20% less weight.
2. All contacts are gold-plated, including the rotor contacts. This means better connectivity and a longer lifespan.
3. There is no need to keep specially made knobs on hand. All standard US knobs can be used (available in black, white, cream, ivory, gold, chrome, or as a Tele barrel knob).
4. The switch can no longer fall apart, as the central connection screw has been eliminated. This screw could loosen in the previous version or break when tightened firmly.
5. The lever can no longer break, as steel sheet metal is used instead of cast iron.
6. More options with fewer variants and less soldering effort due to the use of solder bridges. This significantly reduces the need for jumper wires.
7. The circuit boards have two holes per connection with a diameter of 1.5 mm. This greatly facilitates soldering work.
8. The special mechanics allow the lever to engage more precisely and not get stuck between positions.

Variant T serves as a replacement for conventional 3-way switches, e.g., original Fender® Telecaster® circuits. The same applies to type S. It has the same circuit board and offers the same extended options.
