The EX-13101 USB to RS232 UART converter board consists of a printed circuit board (PCB) with a permanently mounted USB connector and an FTDI FT232RL chip that handles all USB signals and protocols. It is ideal for testing purposes or for creating custom USB-to-serial cables. Interface: RS-232 V.24. FIFO buffer: 256 bytes (transmit) and 128 bytes (receive). Data bits: 7 and 8. Stop bits: 1 and 2. Parity: none, even, odd, space, and mark. RS-232 signals: TxD, RxD, RTS, CTS, DCD, GND. Power supply: via USB bus (bus-powered). Extended temperature range: -40°C to 85°C. Chipset: FTDI.
