The EX-1504HMS is a Managed USB 3.2 Gen1 Metal Hub designed to provide extensive and unique features for industrial applications. It offers an immediate expansion of four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and is compatible with all existing USB 3.1, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and USB 1.1 devices. The EX-1504HMS supports the USB Battery Charging Specification v1.2 as well as some manufacturer-specific charging modes such as Apple 2.4A and Samsung.

The EX-1504HMS comes with management software that allows users to turn the USB bus power on and off for individual devices or reset the entire USB hub to its original state. It has flash memory where the desired startup state can be stored. Upon the next power-up, the last settings will be used. Various utilities are supported for operating systems such as Windows, Intel x86-64, and ARM-based Linux. It includes several management software utilities for different platforms, such as GUI software or the console command line for all common Microsoft Windows systems. Additionally, utilities for various Linux versions are included. The utilities are designed to work with application software programmed in various programming languages such as C#, C++, VB, Python, or even PHP.
