The robust and industrial-grade EX-1170HMVS is a USB 2.0 metal hub for up to ten devices. The hub provides ten USB 2.0 downstream ports with 15 kV ESD surge protection. This allows for the connection of up to ten external USB peripherals to a USB 2.0 port from a computer in a 19" rack. Power can be supplied through the two-wire terminal block connection or the DC jack, providing 500 mA at each USB port. It supports the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 data transfer rate of up to 480 Mbit/s and is backward compatible with USB 1.1. The EX-1170HMVS can be powered via USB bus power, through a two-wire terminal block connection, or through a DC jack (+5V to 24V). The hub meets the specific requirements of industrial applications.
