The EX-1179HMVS provides seven screwable USB downstream ports with 15 kV ESD overvoltage protection. This allows for the connection of up to seven external USB peripherals to a USB 2.0 port from the computer in a 19" rack. The included EX-K1542V cable with A connector to B connector can be attached to the EX-1179HMVS using thumb screws without a screwdriver. Additionally, the terminal block for power connection is pluggable. The HUB meets the specific requirements of industrial applications. It is very compact and robust.
