The EX-44388 PCI-Express I/O card provides eight serial RS-232 high-performance UART 16C1050 outputs. It is designed to expand a PC, workstation, or server with eight additional serial ports via the PCI Express bus. The card is fully PCI-Express Plug-and-Play compatible and does not conflict with IRQ and I/O addresses. Additionally, +5V or +12V can be configured on pin 9 of the serial connector for a POS system (Power over System). The EX-44388 comes with a low-profile bracket, allowing the card to be installed in slim PC cases.
