The EX-3683 converter can be used as a replacement for a 2.5" hard drive or SSD. A SATA 3 connection on the motherboard or a SATA 3 controller is required for connecting the EX-3683. mSATA modules in "Half Size" or "Full Size" can be used. The EX-3683 supports RAID 0 / 1 and JBOD. An integrated ASM1092R high-performance processor supports two Half Size or Full Size modules. It is 100% mechanically compatible with a 2.5" mounting frame, 9.5 mm form factor. Supported RAID modes include RAID 0 (fast) / RAID 1 (security) and JBOD (volume). The RAID mode can be switched via hardware between strapping or GUI controller. It features a 22-pin SATA (signal and power) connector. It supports SATA 3 Revision 3.1, is operating system independent, and requires no drivers. A green LED indicates active SATA 3, while a red LED signals an error with the M.2 SSD. Key features: Storage media size of the storage drive is 2.5", number of supported storage drives is 1, supported storage drive interfaces are Serial ATA III, mSATA.
