The EX-1332HMV USB 2.0 to Serial RS-232 in a metal housing provides two serial RS-232 High Performance UART 16C550 outputs. Both ports have the option to apply 5V DC power to pin 9 of the connector using an internal jumper. It is designed to expand two additional serial outputs in a robust metal case for desktop computers or laptops via the USB 2.0 bus. The included cable EX-K1542V A-plug to B-plug can be attached to the EX-1332HMV without a screwdriver using thumb screws, ensuring that the cable cannot come loose on its own. The EX-1332HMV features LED indicators for data transmissions and can optionally be installed on a mounting rail in a 19" rack using the EX-6099 (DIN-Rail Kit).
