The EX-1332HMV USB 2.0 to serial RS-232 in a metal housing provides two serial RS-232 high-performance UART 16C550 outputs. Both ports have the option to apply 5V DC power to pin 9 of the connector using an internal jumper. It is designed to expand two additional serial outputs in a robust metal case for desktop computers or laptops via the USB 2.0 bus. The included EX-K1542V cable with A-type to B-type connector can be attached to the EX-1332HMV using thumb screws without a screwdriver, preventing the cable from disconnecting on its own. The EX-1332HMV features LED indicators for data transmissions and can optionally be installed on a mounting rail in a 19" rack using the EX-6099 (DIN-Rail Kit).
