The EX-1187HMVS offers seven screwable USB 3.0 downstream ports with protection for connected devices against voltage fluctuations. It is possible to connect up to seven external USB peripherals to a single USB 3.0 port on the computer in a 19-inch rack. The included EX-K1572V (2 meters) A-plug to B-plug cable can be attached to the EX-1187HMVS using thumb screws without a screwdriver. It can be used in automation and office applications and meets the specific requirements of industrial applications. The hub is very compact and robust.

It provides protection for devices against voltage fluctuations and a power supply of 7 to 40V DC, which is commonly used in industrial environments. Installation is done with an integrated DIN rail mounting kit. There is surge protection for each USB port, and it supports 900mA USB bus power for each output. The power supply can be provided either by the USB bus (bus power) or via an external power supply. For industrial applications, the power supply must be purchased separately.
