Product details

The EX-1178S is the original of all 7-port metal hubs. It expands a USB 2.0 output from a notebook or desktop computer to seven additional USB 2.0 ports and protects connected devices against voltage fluctuations as well as providing 15KV ESD surge protection. This allows for the connection of up to seven external USB peripherals to a USB 2.0 port from notebooks or desktop computers. It is very compact and housed in a metal casing, making it suitable for industrial use. Thanks to its intelligent design, the EX-1178S can be mounted on a wall, under a table, or in a 19” rack (optionally with EX-6099). The EX-1178S is of very high quality and is manufactured in Taiwan.
