With the EX-1166HMV, you can expand a USB 2.0 output from a notebook or desktop computer to four additional USB 2.0 ports. This allows you to connect up to four external USB peripherals to a USB 2.0 port on notebooks or desktop computers. It is very compact and robust. The included EX-K1552V cable (2 meters) with A connector to B connector can be attached to the EX-1166HMV using thumb screws without the need for a screwdriver. The power supply connection is also screwable, ensuring that the cable cannot come loose on its own. The EX-1166HMV can be wall-mounted, or optionally, it can be installed on a mounting rail in a 19" rack using the EX-6099 (DIN-Rail Kit). This USB 2.0 hub features four screwable USB 2.0 ports, automatic detection of the data transfer rate for connected peripherals, and overvoltage protection for each USB port. Power supply: from the USB bus (bus power) or a screwable power supply.
