Ewa-Marine U-A100

The U-A 100 housing is a modified version of the U-A housing. It has been specifically designed for use with standard, commercially available autofocus digital SLR cameras from leading manufacturers in combination with fast lenses featuring 77 and 82 mm filter threads. To accommodate this, it is equipped with a larger front glass. The lenses are connected to the front glass using the C-A 77 or C-A 82 adapter. Its use on boats, while surfing, swimming, or snorkeling is effortless, as the cameras placed inside the housing can be operated from the outside as usual. This allows users to capture interesting shots without special knowledge or practice. With the U-A 100, you can now easily take your camera underwater, whether sailing, canoeing, or even scuba diving up to 20 meters deep. The option to insert the Ewa Marine BF1 photo weight under the camera in the housing allows for diving up to a maximum depth of 20 meters. Experienced underwater photographers have reached this depth during their tests and found that the autofocus works accurately and the flash trigger operates normally. The high water pressure is compensated by introducing ample air, ensuring that the ambient pressure is always maintained inside the housing. For this reason, Ewa Marine housings are a reliable solution for any water sports enthusiast's camera. The housing is made from special film and features an integrated optical flat glass pane. A recess has been built into the housing for the additional flash that is standard on many cameras. The closure of the housing consists of two clamping rails that are screwed together with three screws, making the housing watertight.
