Product details
The EVGA CLC 120, which comes in a 120 mm format with an aluminium radiator, generates its cooling power and the resulting noise primarily through the 100% copper cooling block and the developed 120 mm fan with Teflon nano-bearing. The fan has a curved design and thus achieves an extremely high airflow and high static pressure. Due to the reduced turbulence, the noise development is therefore very low and the life expectancy is very high. EVGA has kept the design of the CLC 120 complete water cooling system relatively simple. The aluminium radiator is painted completely black and is perfectly complemented by the black sleeved hoses and the cooler base + pump. In addition, the heat sink is adorned with the EVGA lettering, which can be illuminated in different colours and gives the entire system a noble touch. The advantages of a complete water cooling system are obvious. It is extremely powerful, works relatively quietly, is highly compatible (here: all modern sockets from AMD and Intel), does not need to be maintained and fits into many smaller cases in which there is no room for expansive tower air coolers. The connection to the mainboard is via 4-pin, while the fans are also controlled by the mainboard via 4-pin PWM connection, as usual. Thanks to the EVGA Flow Control software, all important data of the water cooling system can be read out and the fan curve, pump speed and lighting can be adjusted. The software also has the K-Boost function, which can be used to get the maximum performance out of the CLC 120.
