Ev Buddy

EV Buddy Base is a mobile Type 2 emergency charging cable for electric vehicles at the Swiss T13 household socket. It charges single-phase with 230 V, 8 A, and 1.8 kW, and features a cable length of 5 meters along with an integrated control box. The cable serves as a supplementary charging solution for locations without a permanently installed wall box, such as at home, in the garage, or while traveling. The control box monitors the charging process and checks the connection between the vehicle and the power source. Protection features against overvoltage and undervoltage, as well as DC fault currents, ensure safe operation. The Type 2 vehicle plug is compatible with electric cars that have the corresponding charging socket. The IP67 protection rating is designed for use in various environments. A wall mount is included, allowing for secure storage at the location.
