The display now allows you to set and recall two quantities (portion sizes with a timer). However, the option to manually grind a quantity by eye is still available. By pressing both portion buttons simultaneously, you switch to manual mode. Since the Perfetto is designed for grinding both espresso and filter coffee, there is also an optional collection container for larger portion sizes in addition to the classic portafilter holder (fork). Upon closer inspection, you will notice the slightly larger and redesigned grind size selector. Behind the new Easy Setting System lies a mechanism that enables quick switching between different grind sizes (filter, espresso, fresh press, etc.) through a sophisticated gearing system. The Perfetto produces 1.2 to 1.6 grams of espresso and 1.7 to 2.3 grams of filter coffee grounds per second.
