ERSA i-CON VARIO 4 MK2 with i-TOOL AIR S, i-TOOL MK2, CHIP TOOL VARIO, and X-TOOL VARIO is a multi-channel soldering and desoldering station that is antistatic and equipped with a hot air tool i-TOOL AIR S, a desoldering tweezers CHIP TOOL VARIO, a soldering iron i-TOOL MK2, and a desoldering iron X-TOOL VARIO. The i-CON VARIO 4 MK2 multi-channel soldering and desoldering station meets the highest demands for professional soldering and desoldering. As the flagship of the i-CON MK2 family, it offers users four soldering tools for demanding soldering tasks: flexible soldering and desoldering with contactless energy transfer using the new ergonomic hot air tool i-TOOL AIR S, efficient soldering with the powerful 150 W i-TOOL MK2, precise desoldering of fine SMD components with the new desoldering tweezers CHIP TOOL VARIO, and desoldering of wired components with the proven X-TOOL. Alternatively, additional Ersa soldering tools can be connected. All functions, including air and vacuum generation, are consolidated in a central power unit with the familiar simple i-Op operation and clear displays. The station also offers interfaces for Ersa solder fume extraction systems or infrared preheating, as well as a USB connection. The station can be quickly and securely configured via a microSD memory card, making it well-equipped for all applications in professional electronics manufacturing. It is ideally suited for use in ESD protection zones. The new Tip’n’Turn technology allows for faster and safer tip changes through the use of a new bayonet attachment. In addition to improved ergonomics, the 142 tip series offers enhanced heat transfer and high performance at an optimal price-performance ratio.
