Product details
Innovative solution for intelligent hand soldering. ERSA has developed the i-CON 2V MK2, a combined soldering station that meets the demands of higher working temperatures and the increasingly smaller process windows of lead-free soldering operations. The electronics station features a second connection for an additional i-tool or alternatively for tools for desoldering SMD components or through-hole components. The i-CON series is, of course, antistatic. A firmware update can be performed via the micro-SD card slot.
Innovative technology - highlights at a glance:
- User-friendly one-touch operation of the software with online help and easy menu navigation via i-Op menu selection. Large multifunction display.
- Three energy power levels are available, which regulate the heating element depending on the required heat demand. At the highest setting, the system delivers maximum power of 150 W. At the low power level, the output is strictly controlled, preventing temperature overshoot.
- Process window and alarm visually and audibly inform the operator if the temperature leaves the preselected temperature process window.
- With the i-Set Tool Vario option, additional i-CON soldering stations can be automatically configured and locked. Station settings can be easily and quickly downloaded from one i-CON to the i-Set Tool, similar to using a USB stick, and transferred to another station within 5 seconds.
i-Tool: The i-Tool is an extremely lightweight, powerful precision soldering iron with a wide range of affordable permanent soldering tips. 150 W of power ensures the fastest heating and reheating response. Process window alarm, energy power levels, and automatic standby sensor provide the i-CON user with unprecedented process control. The calibration data of the i-Tool is stored on the circuit board in the handle of the soldering iron.
