The SDW 5 BS is a base station for the wireless DECT series SDW 5000, featuring triple connectivity for softphone/PC, desk phone, and mobile phone. It is certified for Skype for Business and optimised for UC. The SDW 5 BS base station connects everything, giving the user control over calls, devices, and headset settings.

Comprehensive Flexibility
With the SDW 5 BS base station, users can take all calls through a single device. Thanks to the triple connectivity for softphone/PC, desk phone, and mobile devices, the base station serves as a flexible communication hub that works with all headsets in the SDW 5000 series and can be paired for conferences with up to 4 SDW 5000 headsets.

Increased Productivity
Enhanced touch panels on the base station provide users with complete control over their calls and devices. The controls on the base station allow for merging and splitting calls, switching between calls, muting, as well as playing and pausing music – all from one device. Calls can also be transferred between headsets. The USB port on the base station can be used to charge a mobile phone. IT managers can quickly configure and manage the use of Sennheiser's HeadSetup Pro Manager. Additionally, for hot-desking, a wired Sennheiser headset, speakerphone, or Bluetooth headset can be connected to the USB port on the side of the base station when this port is not being used for a dongle for mobile connectivity. As an IT manager, you can upgrade from dual to triple connectivity to enable flexible working via the BTD 800 dongle, ensuring the connection of mobile devices.
