With these adapter sockets, it is possible to plug a 4mm connector into a standard 5mm socket without the need for time-consuming soldering. Many hardcase battery packs are equipped with 5mm sockets, and existing 4mm connectors cannot be securely plugged in. This is made possible with the EP adapter sockets. Simply plug the adapter socket into the existing socket, and you're done.
