EMG 89 Dual Mode Humbucker black

The EMG 89 houses two fully-fledged pickups and preamps in its casing: a humbucker and a single coil. This is not the well-known coil tap principle! The humbucker is powered by Alnico V magnets and produces a full, warm, and powerful tone. Always clear and articulate, similar to the EMG 85. The single coil can be activated via the included push/pull pot and has a traditionally airy, bright, and bell-like sound, very similar to the EMG SA. In both modes, the EMG 89 delivers a flawless clean sound with plenty of presence. Extremely versatile, suitable for genres ranging from jazz to hard rock, and appropriate for both bridge and neck positions. Color: Black.
